But yeah, super fun game so far and I hope it will only keep getting better in the future! My favourite characters right now are Latch and Grid, both are badass. Also the online menus would benefit a lot from more options, I'd like to be able to search for a volleyball game or a game with no HP bars enabled for example. and the training should be way more thorough (and not unlockable!). The gameplay feels really good, the soundtrack's cool and I love the artstyle but I feel like there's a lot of quality of life work to be done with the game. Finding online matches seems to be a bit hit or miss for me, earlier today I got into a full lobby quickly but later on in the day I could not find any matches at all. Having a lot of fun with the game, I completed the story mode and beat arcade with Latch, Grid and Sonata so far. I never played the first game but I picked this one up at launch because everything about it screamed Jet Set Radio to me. This has changed substantially, as playing the game and winning rounds will now earn you "Sparks" which you can spend at your own leisure to unlock a wide variety of stuff, including new music and alternate costumes! In the previous game, you would unlock new alternate palettes for characters as you played through the game progressively. ![]() Keep the ball afloat and go in for the kill! In this mode, you'll be fighting to dunk the ball onto the ground of the opposing side. A new multiplayer mode has also been included called Lethal Volley. Single player has been expanded to feature a brand new event-based story mode. For the ones that want more spice in their life, Lethal League now features a host of options for items and gimmicks to give you an even more chaotic experience than usual! You're now able to catch and hold onto a ball before lobbing it back at your target. You no longer check out after being hit once. ![]() Lethal League Blaze features a host of updates to the mechanics that completely upends the dynamic and loop of a round. While the game retains it's signature fast-paced 2D style, every interactable set piece is now rendered in 3D, with more dynamic action and shots than before.
